Basketball Recap: Terianna Richardson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Conway Christian

Aynor won the last time they faced Conway Christian and things went their way on Monday too. The Aynor Blue Jackets strolled past the Conway Christian Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 40-25. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Blue Jackets as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Aynor to victory, but perhaps none more so than Terianna Richardson, who posted 15 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Richardson has scored at least a third of Aynor's points. Elisha Huffman was another key player, putting up six points in addition to 11 boards and four blocks.

The victory got Aynor back to even at 9-9. As for Conway Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Aynor has already played their next game, a 47-31 win against Marlboro County on the 28th. Conway Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
