Football Recap: Glasgow Skates Past Larue County with Ease

Glasgow won the last time they faced Larue County and things went their way on Friday too. The Scotties simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hawks 42-7. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Scotties' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky football rankings (they are ranked 37th, while the Hawks are ranked 127th).

Glasgow's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Larue County, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-4 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Glasgow is set to square off against their familiar foe Edmonson County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Larue County will take on rival Hart County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
