Point Loma has no trouble against Scripps Ranch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Point Loma Pointers had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 32-12 margin over Scripps Ranch. Point Loma might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Brady Allen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 120 yards and three touchdowns.
Point Loma pushed their record up to 8-4 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.3 points per game. As for Scripps Ranch, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.
Point Loma will head out on the road to face off against Del Norte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Del Norte presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Point Loma in California (Del Norte is ranked 103rd, while Point Loma is ranked 218th). Scripps Ranch does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
