Basketball Game Preview: Pulaski County Cougars vs. Lord Botetourt Cavaliers

The Pulaski County Cougars will take on the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses dating back to last season for Pulaski County and four for Lord Botetourt dating back to last season.

Last Monday, Pulaski County came up short against Abingdon and fell 75-64. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (57), the Cougars still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Lord Botetourt also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Salem by a score of 62-55.

Lord Botetourt's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pulaski County, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-3.

Pulaski County lost to Lord Botetourt at home by a decisive 77-60 margin in their previous matchup back in January of 2021. Can Pulaski County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
