Hankinson put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Ellendale Cardinals. While the Pirates didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Hankinson was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-23, 18-25, 25-22, 15-8.

Hankinson's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Ellendale, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
