Softball Recap: Fairfield Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Fairfield's offense. They fell just short of the Centerville Big Reds/Redettes by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The Trojans have struggled against the Big Reds/Redettes recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Fairfield's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Centerville, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairfield will welcome Keokuk at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Centerville, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Wayne at 7:00 p.m. The Falcons will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Big Reds/Redettes surely won't give up without a fight.
