Softball Recap: Riverside Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

If Riverside was riding high fresh off their 13-2 takedown of Greer last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Riverside Warriors lost 10-1 to the Dorman Cavaliers on Tuesday. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Cavaliers from their previous meeting back in April of 2022.

Riverside's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.2 runs. As for Dorman, their win bumped their record up to 3-1-1.

Riverside has already played their next game, a 4-2 loss against Wade Hampton on the 12th. As for Dorman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-1 defeat against James F. Byrnes on the 12th.
