Georgetown Day's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Madeira Snails as they made off with a 28-18 win. The result was nothing new for the Mighty Hoppers, who have now won five games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Avery Snyder was a standout: she fired off four doubles, two stolen bases, and five RBI while going 4-for-5. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Gracie Schuham-Anders, who got on base in all six of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Georgetown Day kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Georgetown Day's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Madeira, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Coming up, Georgetown Day will be playing in front of their home fans against Episcopal at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Madeira does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
