Soccer Recap: Marquette Takes a Loss

Marquette entered their game against Nerinx Hall on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Mustangs fell just short of the Markers by a score of 3-2. Marquette were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Nerinx Hall apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2021.

This is the second loss in a row for Marquette and nudges their season record down to 7-4. As for Nerinx Hall, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marquette will venture away from home to face off against Cor Jesu Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nerinx Hall, they will challenge St. Joseph's Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
