Softball Recap: Exeter Takes a Loss

Exeter blew Bishop Guertin out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Bishop Guertin got their revenge. The Blue Hawks fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 7-5. The Blue Hawks just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Exeter's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-1. As for Bishop Guertin, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Exeter will host Dover at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Hawks are facing the Green Wave at the right time seeing as the Green Wave are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Bishop Guertin, they will challenge Alvirne at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
