Volleyball Recap: Bloomington Comes Up Short

Bloomington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Citrus Hill Hawks. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Bloomington was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 20 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

Bloomington's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Citrus Hill, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-8.

Looking ahead, Bloomington will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against JW North at 5:30 p.m. As for Citrus Hill, they will venture away from home to square off against Arroyo Valley at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
