Softball Recap: Silas Comes Up Short

Silas was the 7-3 winner over Central Kitsap when they last played one another back in March of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams lost 19-4 to the Cougars on Thursday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Silas saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Medalia, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Nevaeh Rodriguez also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Silas' loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Central Kitsap, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Silas will square off against Mount Tahoma at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Central Kitsap, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on River Ridge at 3:30 p.m. on the 14th.
