Volleyball Recap: Red Land's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Red Land won the last time they faced Hershey and things went their way on Thursday too. The Patriots put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Patriots, who have now won three games in a row.

While Red Land won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-17.

Red Land's win bumped their record up to 8-2-1. As for Hershey, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Red Land is taking a road trip to challenge Chambersburg at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hershey, they will be playing at home against Northern Lebanon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
