Cairo is a perfect 10-0 against Westover since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Syrupmakers will be playing at home against the Patriots at 7:30 p.m. Cairo will be strutting in after a win while Westover will be coming in after a defeat.

Cairo gave up the first goal on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They skirted past Peach County 3-2.

Meanwhile, Westover fell victim to Bainbridge and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Bearcats. While losing is never fun, Westover can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 389th, while Bainbridge are ranked 53rd).

Westover has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. As for Cairo, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Cairo got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in February against Westover by a conclusive 10-0 score. Do the Syrupmakers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
