Basketball Recap: Central Crossing Comes Up Short

Central Crossing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the Upper Arlington Golden Bears, falling 52-11. The game marked the Comets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Savannah Hamilton was Central Crossing's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Kassidy Gunnell held things down on the boards with four rebounds.

Central Crossing's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Upper Arlington, they pushed their record up to 16-1 with the victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season.

Central Crossing will welcome Liberty Union at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Upper Arlington, they will head out to square off against Hilliard Bradley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hilliard Bradley will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Upper Arlington surely won't give up without a fight.
