Antone Johnson Dazzles in Tattnall Square Academy Victory

Tattnall Square Academy picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Antone Johnson. Johnson did his part (and then some), rushing for 149 yards, while also throwing for 91 yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 80 yards.

Unfortunately for Stratford Academy, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Johnson. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Johnson saw the Eagles), he rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 56 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Asa Wall Delivers Best Effort of Season

John Milledge Academy came up short on Friday despite Asa Wall delivering his best game to date. Wall rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown.

John Milledge Academy is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. Wall and John Milledge Academy will head out to square off against Tattnall Square Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Ty Hunnicutt Leads Tattnall Square Academy over Stratford Academy

Ty Hunnicutt produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Tattnall Square Academy to the win on Friday. Hunnicutt picked up 127 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 80 yards.

For the year, Hunnicutt has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 75.9 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had two receiving touchdowns.

William Stuart and Co. Win Sixth in a Row

Tattnall Square Academy picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to William Stuart. Stuart turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 72 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 66 yards.

For the season, Stuart has caught 2 touchdowns while averaging 16.3 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one receiving touchdown.

Jett Johnston Rounds Out Top Five

Rounding off our Top Five is Jett Johnston of Stratford Academy. Johnston picked up 75 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Stratford Academy's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-3. Johnston and Stratford Academy will welcome Mount de Sales Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
