Columbus North hit Perry Meridian with a 12-run fifth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Falcons lost 15-7 to the Bull Dogs. The Falcons have struggled against the Bull Dogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Macy Stroud was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Adriana Chesser also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Lawrence Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Perry Meridian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Lawrence Central suffered a grim 12-2 defeat to Perry Meridian when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
