 On Monday, the Elberta Warriors beat the Westmoreland Eagles 6-2. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Elberta.
  Destiny Garcia looked comfortable as she  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side, Elberta let  Brooklyn Ward and  Karli Cantrell loose on the outfield. Ward  went 1-for-1 with a  triple, a  run,  and  an  RBI, while  Cantrell  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances.
 On Westmoreland's side,  Garilynn Jones was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-1.
 Elberta's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Westmoreland,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-4.
 Elberta will square off against Blacksher at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Westmoreland, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Heritage at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
