Falls Lake was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Raleigh Charter on Friday. The Falls Lake Firebirds simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Raleigh Charter Phoenix 55-23. The Firebirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Leading Falls Lake to victory were Jeneen Mason and Khloe Massengill. Mason posted nine points in addition to eight assists and four blocks, while Massengill went 8 of 15 en route to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madisyn Shedd, who had six points.

Falls Lake's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.6 points. As for Raleigh Charter, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Falls Lake will welcome Research Triangle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Falls Lake is facing Research Triangle at the right time seeing as Research Triangle is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
