Soccer Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

Highland lost against Littlerock back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Highland Bulldogs lost 8-0 to the Littlerock Lobos. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 618th, while the Lobos are ranked 61st).

Highland has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-1 record this season. As for Littlerock, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland will take on Eastside at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Littlerock, they will challenge Lancaster at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
