Basketball Recap: Milaca Find Success

Milaca proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 33) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 59-56 victory over the Kimball Cubs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wolves have posted against the Cubs since December 11, 2014.

Milaca has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.4 points per game. As for Kimball, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5.

Milaca wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 73-49 victory against Mora on the 28th. As for Kimball, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 50-24 defeat against Royalton on the 30th.
