Volleyball Recap: Hershey Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

Hershey won the last time they faced Valentine and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers came out on top against Valentine by a score of 3-1.

Hershey had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 27-25, 25-20, 25-18.

Demi Damoude paced Hershey's offense, picking up 16 kills. Damoude got some help from Kenna Bringewatt and her 20 assists. Damoude was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Hershey is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Valentine, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 10-8 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Hershey will venture away from home to square off against Loomis on Tuesday. As for Valentine, they will head out to take on Gordon-Rushville on Thursday.
