Recap: Trinity Prep vs. Loganville Christian Academy Lions
If Trinity Prep were feeling good off their 75-42 takedown of the Scholars Guild Academy Spartans on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Trinity Prep took a serious blow against Loganville Christian Academy on Friday, falling 75-44. While losing is never fun, Trinity Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 254th, while Loganville Christian Academy is ranked 36th).
Despite the loss, Trinity Prep still got an impressive performance from Allan Ray IV, who scored 22 points. Ray IV scored a full 50% of Trinity Prep's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Shane Harvey, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
Trinity Prep's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-6. As for Loganville Christian Academy, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Prep will take on Providence Classical Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Loganville Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Lake Oconee Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
