Gaffney is a perfect 4-0 against Riverside since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Indians will welcome the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Gaffney is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Gaffney is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Carolina's top teams: James F. Byrnes, who was ranked 16th at the time (Gaffney was ranked 13th). The Indians walked away with a 28-16 win over the Rebels on Friday.

Banks Bouton was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 132 yards and one TD on only 11 carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 80 yards.

Bouton was just one part of a punishing run game: Gaffney was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 220 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 220 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverside). They came out on top against Eastside by a score of 43-30 on Friday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Gaffney's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Riverside, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Everything went Gaffney's way against Riverside in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as Gaffney made off with a 41-21 win. In that matchup, the Indians amassed a halftime lead of 28-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
