Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Roy). They walked away with  a   53-42  victory over the Northridge Knights  on Friday. The  win was some much needed relief for the Royals as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.
Leading Roy to victory were  Ariana Strain and  Rihanna May.  Strain  went 5 for 8  on her way to 14  points and five  rebounds, while  May  posted 15  points and three  steals. The dominant performance also gave  Strain a new career-high in  assists (four).  Jerzee Hart was another key player,  putting up ten points and eight  rebounds.
 Roy  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with ten  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive boards in six consecutive  contests.
Roy's victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 3-7. As for Northridge, they now  have a losing record at 5-6.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roy will welcome Bonneville  at 5:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. Roy is facing Bonneville at the right time seeing as Bonneville is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Northridge, they will host Bountiful  at 5:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. Bountiful is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.3  points per game  this season.
