Volleyball Recap: Amherst Broncos vs. Ord Chanticleers
Amherst proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Ord Chanticleers 2-1. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Chanticleers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
In the two sets Amherst was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-15, 25-7.
Amherst found their leader in sophomore Kenna Hagan, who had ten assists and seven aces. Those seven aces set a new season-high mark for Hagan.

Amherst was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.
Despite the loss, Ord still got an impressive performance from Payton Bruha, who had 19 digs.
