Basketball Recap: Osborne Comes Up Short

Osborne was the 69-43 winner over Pike Valley when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Osborne Bulldogs were outmatched by the Pike Valley Panthers and fell 69-27. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pike Valley was led to victory by Andrew Cooper and Ezra Benne. Cooper dropped a double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds, while Benne went 6-for-12 on his way to 16 points. The matchup was Cooper's third in a row with at least 16 points. Braxton Patterson was another key player, going 5-for-12 to rack up 16 points and three steals.

Osborne's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Pike Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season.

Osborne has already played their next contest, a 73-35 loss against Thunder Ridge on the 13th. As for Pike Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 61-24 win against Natoma on the 14th.
