Soccer Recap: Preston Takes a Loss

Preston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers. If Preston were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Buckhannon-Upshur when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Preston's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Buckhannon-Upshur, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Preston wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-2 loss against Uniontown on the 9th. As for Buckhannon-Upshur, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against John Marshall on the 6th.
