Softball Recap: Buffalo Comes Up Short

Buffalo extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 10-8 in the process. They came up short against the Logan Wildcats, falling 14-0. Considering the last time the Bison couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

As for Logan, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 19 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games.

For Logan's part, Ashlin Brumfield was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run and four runs. Those four runs gave Brumfield a new career-high. Melody Rozzell was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

As of now, neither Buffalo nor Logan have any future games scheduled.
