Football Recap: Lancaster Baptist Comes Up Short

Lancaster Baptist entered their game against Santa Clarita Christian on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Eagles took a blow against the Cardinals, falling 56-26. The Eagles lost against the Cardinals in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 69-17 score last time.

Lancaster Baptist suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 4-3. As for Santa Clarita Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lancaster Baptist will venture away from home to take on Noli Indian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Santa Clarita Christian, they will head out to face off against Milken at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.2 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
