Soccer Recap: Widefield Comes Up Short

Widefield managed to keep up with Fountain-Fort Carson until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Gladiators came up short against the Trojans, falling 4-0. If Widefield were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Fountain-Fort Carson when the teams met back in March of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Widefield has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. As for Fountain-Fort Carson, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Widefield didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-0 win against Sierra on the 8th. As for Fountain-Fort Carson, they have also already played their next game, a 9-0 loss against Rampart on the 10th.
