On TuesdayMountain View kept up with Bowie until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. The Bowie Bears put the hurt on the Mountain View Lobos with a sharp 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won five games by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Mountain View from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Abraham Chaparro led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Bowie has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those nine matches. As for Mountain View, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bowie will square off against Fabens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mountain View, they will take on Irvin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
