It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Linn had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the McNary Celtics 7-6. The victory was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won six contests in a row.

West Linn pushed their record up to 24-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for McNary, their loss dropped their record down to 20-8.

Coming up, West Linn will challenge Sherwood on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lions 3.4, the Bowmen 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. McNary does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
