Strongsville entered their tilt with Dover on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Crimson Tornadoes.

Payton Beard paced Strongsville's offense, picking up 17 kills. Beard got some help from Gianna Grecol and her 24 assists. Grecol was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Strongsville's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Dover, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-2 record.

Strongsville has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Logan on the 13th. As for Dover, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Madison Comprehensive on the 16th.
