Basketball Recap: Donovan Davidson Key Part of a Team Effort in Ravens Win

Empire won the last time they faced Show Low and things went their way on Saturday too. The Empire Ravens blew past the Show Low Cougars 71-49. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Ravens.

Empire's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Donovan Davidson led the charge by putting up 23 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Davidson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jaylen Camacho, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds.

Empire smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.
