St. Joseph waltzed into their match on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wilmot Panthers. The Lancers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Leading St. Joseph to victory were Lauren Garcia and Lilli Baez. Garcia had eight digs and three aces, while Baez had 11 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Garcia has posted over her last seven contests. Ana Soto also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

St. Joseph's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Wilmot, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

St. Joseph wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Delavan-Darien on the 20th. As for Wilmot, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Badger on the 20th.
