Volleyball Recap: San Dieguito Academy Comes Up Short

San Dieguito Academy lost against Canyon Crest Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mustangs came up short against the Ravens, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Mustangs have suffered since March 11th.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15, 25-21.

Chase Estrin paced San Dieguito Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Estrin got some help from Trevor Anderson and his 20 assists. Finally, Andrew Paul kept San Dieguito Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.

This is the second loss in a row for San Dieguito Academy and nudges their season record down to 15-8. As for Canyon Crest Academy, the win keeps they at an undefeated 30-0.

Coincidentally, San Dieguito Academy and Canyon Crest Academy will both be playing Westview the next time they take the court. The Ravens will host the Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Mustangs will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
