Basketball Recap: Copenhagen falls despite big games from Samuel Carroll and Caden Miller

It was a good run, but the Copenhagen Golden Knights unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 51-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of La Fargeville. Copenhagen was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

Copenhagen's loss came despite strong showings from Caden Miller and Samuel Carroll. Miller scored 13 points along with four steals, while Carroll dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Carroll hasn't dropped below two blocks for 16 straight games.

Copenhagen's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for La Fargeville, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Copenhagen will take on the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Belleville Henderson Central and the Golden Knights are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. La Fargeville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
