Basketball Recap: Galion Comes Up Short

Galion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 66-24 loss at the hands of the Genoa Area Comets. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Galion's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Genoa Area, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5.

Galion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Genoa Area, they will be taking part in a tournament against Liberty-Benton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
