Football Recap: Brady Takes a Loss

Brady lost against Mullen back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles had to suffer through a 71-32 loss at the hands of the Broncos. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-12.

Despite the loss, Brady still got an impressive performance from Cinch Sanger, who rushed for 65 yards and one score, and also threw for 128 yards and a pair of TDs.

Alex Werner went supernova For Mullen., rushing for 135 yards and one touchdown on only 14 carries.

This is the second loss in a row for Brady and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Mullen, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Brady is set to challenge their familiar foe Bayard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mullen will square off against rival Hyannis at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
