Volleyball Recap: Morgan Township Beats Tri-Township for Their Third Straight Victory

Morgan Township waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Tri-Township Tigers 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Cherokees, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Morgan Township was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-6.

Morgan Township can attribute much of their success to Maria Ising, who had eight digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Ising a new career-high in assists (three).

Morgan Township's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Tri-Township, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Morgan Township wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Hanover Central on the 6th. Tri-Township has also already played their next game (against Wheeler), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
