Volleyball Recap: Pasadena Memorial Mavericks vs. Alvin Yellowjackets

After flying high against Sam Rayburn on Tuesday, Pasadena Memorial came back down to earth. The Mavericks came up short against the Alvin Yellowjackets on Friday, falling 3-0. The Mavericks haven't had much luck with the Yellowjackets recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 25-15.

Kenzie Fernandez paced Pasadena Memorial's offense, picking up five kills. Fernandez got some help from Savannah Lott and her seven assists. Lott was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Pasadena Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 12-18. As for Alvin, they moved to 11-20 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.
