Softball Recap: Omak Comes Up Short

While it was Omak who put the first runs on the board on Saturday, it was Almira-Coulee-Hartline who put up more. The Pioneers came up short against the Warriors, falling 11-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-6 on Saturday.

Omak's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Almira-Coulee-Hartline, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Omak will face off against Cascade at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Almira-Coulee-Hartline, they will head out to square off against Tri-Cities Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.14 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
