Volleyball Recap: Lakeland Preparatory Takes a Loss

Lakeland Preparatory lost against Dyer County back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions fell 2-0 to the Choctaws. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tess Terpstra paced Lakeland Preparatory's offense, picking up seven kills. Terpstra got some help from Emma Morgan and her 11 assists. Madelynn Chauffe controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Lakeland Preparatory now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Dyer County, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Lakeland Preparatory's road trip will continue as they head out to face St. Agnes Academy at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Dyer County, they will face off against Arlington at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Choctaws surely won't give up without a fight.
