Baseball Game Preview: Harrison Central Red Rebels vs. D'Iberville Warriors

For the second straight game, Harrison Central will face off against D'Iberville. Harrison Central will head out to challenge D'Iberville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, it was close, but Harrison Central sidestepped D'Iberville for a 5-3 win. That's two games straight that the Red Rebels have won by exactly two runs.

Jaxson Moore spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Harrison Central is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 3-9 otherwise.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Bubba Harris, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Tre Hanshaw also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Harrison Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-10 record this season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. D'Iberville is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
