Basketball Recap: Wayne Academy Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Wayne Academy took on Presbyterian Christian on Saturday. The Wayne Academy Jaguars had to suffer through a 63-25 loss at the hands of the Presbyterian Christian Bobcats. The matchup marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Wayne Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5. As for Presbyterian Christian, their win bumped their record up to 16-4.

Wayne Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Lamar at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Presbyterian Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Madison-Ridgeland Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
