Baseball Game Preview: Oak Hill Oaks vs. Eastern Eagles

For the second straight game, Oak Hill will face off against Eastern. The Oaks will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Oak Hill's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Eastern's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Oak Hill took a loss when they played away from home last Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Eastern a 9-0 shutout. The Oaks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by seven runs or more this season.

For Eastern's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Kelly, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Eastern and nudges their season record down to 2-12. As for Oak Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
