Baseball Recap: Kalamazoo Central Takes a Loss

Kalamazoo Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Hackett Catholic Prep Fighting Irish, falling 18-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Irish this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-1 on Saturday.

Kalamazoo Central's defeat dropped their record down to 13-16. As for Hackett Catholic Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.

Coming up, Kalamazoo Central will look to defend their home field on Monday against Watervliet at 4:15 p.m. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Maroon Giants surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hackett Catholic Prep, they will take on Parchment at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
