Basketball Recap: Euclid Takes a Loss

Euclid lost against Strongsville back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Euclid Panthers had to suffer through an 87-54 loss at the hands of the Strongsville Mustangs. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Euclid's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Strongsville, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Euclid will head out to take on Stow-Munroe Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Strongsville, they will host McKinley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. McKinley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.1 points per game this season.
