Recap: Rockledge Raiders vs. Cocoa Tigers
The Rockledge Raiders fell victim to the Cocoa Tigers''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 26-0 walloping at the hands of the Tigers. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Rockledge in their matchups with Cocoa: they've now lost four in a row.
Cocoa found their leader in underclassman Brady Hart, who threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns. Hart is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cj Bragg, who picked up 92 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Rockledge's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Cocoa, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
Rockledge will head out on the road to face off against Jensen Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jensen Beach will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Cocoa, they will be playing at home against Eustis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eustis is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
